the reviews aren't just from this site. I fed royal canin to Chino when I first got him. He did excellent on it, and I would have been fine... But it's a 3 star food and Blue Buffalo was not much of a difference cost wise, and not only does he like it more, I see smaller stool sizes, shinier coat, etc.
Just because our dogs do ok on it doesn't mean it's superior. People feed WalMart crap and their dogs seem to do ok on it.
