treadmill
I have been workin Roxy on the treadmill for about a week now. She loves it. Now Tyson hates it. Its been a bit chilly here and raining too, so I use the treadmill, she has already lost some of that winter weight and she is lookin great. does anyone else use treadmills?

I can when I can find someone to let me use theirs. I'm broke, and can't afford a carpet mill (Which is my preference).

Nope I have never used one. I have almost 6 acres of land the dogs run on Chalice loves the colder weather yesterday it was 5 degrees out and she ran and played for almost 3 hrs. One tired puppy last night.

Rebel is a true working dog, he loves it. We ran today.
They say a dog that doesnt want to work is a dog that usually wont perform, however Bailey hates to run on the mill but she pulls like a tugboat so dont go by that guide!

Treadmill in Maine?
I've actually been researching buying one, based on Caesar Milan's suggestion to get your dog on a treadmill to drain energy. I found a great discussion thread on the topic, which makes the argument that slat mills are better for aerobic exercise, while carpet mills are better for building muscle, because they have more resistance:
http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/p...97/type/thread
But the slat mills seem to be really out of my price range at the moment. I don't suppose anyone here has one and live in Maine do they? lol...
Anyway, if anyone has a used one they are interested in selling, I'm interested in buying...
