Is she too old?

Hey guys, I have a 3 year old female and am just curious if she is too old to start pulling a little weight. I dont want to compete or anything like that I just want her to get a little more muscle mass. If she isnt too old what would be a good thing to start pulling at first? Thanks alot to anyone that replies.

No she is the perfect age to start as long as she is a healthy structurally sound dog

Be aware however APBTs are not meant to have bulky muscle and her body type and genetics will play a huge role in how she looks even with conditioning

i would start with some light plate weights you can buy from any sporting good store, make sure you have a proper pull harness, i saw some idiot with just a normal harness he got from petco and his dog was struggling to pull weight it was for sure going to hurt his dog.

yup its a good age... most people don't usually start pulling their dogs till after a year of age... my one female who I pull I just started her off pulling my niece around on a sled both of them loved it .... my niece was about 2 or 3 so she wasnt that big then I just had her pull other things on the sled like I put bricks on it....

It is a GREAT age to start at.
I just started and did a pull on my male 3 yr old pit and my 3.5 yr old female Presa.
Best of luck and keep us posted

Thanks alot for the feedback and support guys and gals! Replying to the first response, I am sorry if I worded it wrong but I dont expect to get her to bulge, I more or less want to tone her up and build her muscle. I will hopefully be able to order her a harness this friday and will start training next week. I will keep you all posted on how we do. Thanks again!!!!
