my boy maximus likes the springpole when its sort of low to the ground..but when i lift it up not that much just so that he can grab it and his front paws are off the ground he loses interest very fast...any advice on how to keep him going on it even when its a little higher.....????
Just keep something of high value on there, such as a hide...it took a little bit for Syd to use to it then I slowly started to raise it up slow enough over a couple sessions that she didn't really realize it...and always stop them before they get disinterested. It got to a point where Sydney would beg to go outside just to play with the tug...if you need a good place for hides PM me and I will get you his email....
How old before I can start spring pole? My Anubis will be 6 months soon and he already wants me to pick him up off of the ground when he tugs on his rope. I don't though cause his teeth are coming out.
