ear cropping style for my dog
After weeks of debating if i should get her ears crop or not i finally made my decision and now i need suggestion on style of cropping... battle, short, or show crop do you like on her or think will best look on her? And how long does the procedure take? wondering will i need to take some time off from work to take care of her.
yesterday at 3.5 months old
Her left ear is not even with her right ear LOL she prolly slept on it too much when she was younger. When i first got her both ears were the same...
10weeks

The dog above, Justice was done by a vet in Ca that did great show crops.
Tempest is also a short crop
Typhoon has a bit longer show crop
Siren has a battle crop and I do not suggest it, things get stuck in her ears all the time like sand.

I like the show crop. Im thinking of getting the show crop for Q as well. BTW, your dog is gorgeous. He has very similar markings as Q.

I would go with short like PK's Tempest, her ears are perfect and they complement her face very well. Beautiful crop.

I think short or show. They are my favorites. When you do find a vet to do this you need to ask for examples of their work. Some vets are better at certain crop styles than others. Mine likes the show crop as well... I had to "special request" and trust her skills for the ones that I wanted as a short crop. IMO battle crops are tacky. To the previous poster with the flop crop... it is like that because the ears were not wrapped (Trained) long enough when he was a pup)
My pup is still growing in this picture and his head has filled out quite a bit from this photo so his crop doesn't seem as... uhh long. These are examples of what my vet does for a Show Crop
Here's an example of in between short and show
Here are my dogs with short crops

Look at my PIIIIIIIGIE! I miss her! lol
To avoid having an ear flop like that you have to be prepared to tape the ears up sometimes for several months. Your girl Q has a good ear set and you should not have issues with her ears standing up. If you do you just have to be diligent and keep working with them. I think a show crop would look like

for the most part they stand up all the time.. that one ear gets floppy when she raises her ears.. when she's scared they lay flat to the side

I got them done here in Jacksonville Florida at Whitehouse Animal Hospital. IDK where you're located, but the telephone number is 904-781-0599

Help help
Could someone please help me to attach a picture to me on here. Also I have 2 registered Pit bulls and a 4 week old litter of puppies. I REALLY like the Razors edge bloodline Pocket Pit Bulls from Mr. Pit, but all his pups are already in transaction. Would anyone know of another quality kennel that has pups available with the same standards as Mr. Pit`s pups? Thank you for any & all assitance.
