BFKC - Pitbulls

what do you guys think of the bonifide kennel club? Alot of breeders around my area register with the BFKC. I know it's owned by Carl Mims and he's like 10min from here. He doesnt do shows or anything,but how good is the registry?

I only have second (third?) hand information, but its supposed to be fairly exclusive in terms of what they'll allow to register with them. (ie, gamebred dogs only) That said, the benefit of a registry for me is the hosting of events, and I don't think that the BFKC has events. I could be wrong, though, because its been a while since I looked them up. (ETA: Reading comprehension. I see where you said there are no shows. *knock on head*)

I have several dogs reg with the BFKC and I don't know if they have a particular benefit as a registry, it's just another place to keep my records with. Since they do not host shows it is strictly for book keeping.
