winterizing dogs paws?

i wanted to ask you guys a question that live in colder areas. do you need to winterize your dogs paws? i have noticed that my dogs paws seem more rough and dry due to the cold weather. is this something that you guys do or am i crazy?

If you dog will wear dog booties then you can try. If you doggie is stubborn like Akasha, after you come inside just make sure you dry off the paws. It helps with Akasha's feet, sometimes I soak them in warm water.

thanks for the response Akasha. i think the thing that kind of concerned me is if the skin on the pads of her paws will crack from the cold.

Also wash the paws off from coming in if you have been walking in areas that your city may have salted. That stuff is terrible!
