Their work ethic and heart. My first catch dog turned me on to them. He was as good a dog as anybody could want. As long as I have a job for one I'll most likely have a pit, or at least a cross of one around.

We had one growing up my moms friend died and we took her in. She was a medical rescue dog and I still remember laying on the floor and her gently grabbing my arm and pulling me to my mom or someone older.
she got out one day and got hit by a car didn't make it.

I waited a long time before getting one as an adult... I wonder why now...
I love my dogs

I wanted a medium sized, short haired, non-drooly, extremely affectionate dog.

Voila!

What inspired you of loving Pit bulls so much?

When I was younger I was very uneducated about the breed. My parents always told me Pit bulls were mean, aggressive, etc. I was always an animal lover and my family had many different breeds of dogs growing up. I was listening to a Curren$y song called Skybourne when the verse said "El Camino on thirteens, red nosed pitbulls in the back, no leash / mothereffers well trained" I googled red nosed pitbulls and instantly fell in love. I began reading about how the breed is a misconception to the general public and my parents tought me wrong on the breed. From that day forward I have decided to be a responsible owner and help change the view on "Pit bulls". I am now a proud owner of an American Pit bull Terrier named Gucci.

Pitbulls are still highly illegal in my state of Queensland, but my best mate has three of them. I've known her old girl Maple for a good 8 years now and love her to pieces.
We have always used pitbull crosses to hunt pigs and they have always been great.
They are a breed that I've always loved and admired

My first time seening the breed, at a young age I got a chance to some what train a beautiful black pit pup. After nine months of being around that amazing dog and seeing how much I loved that dog and how he just wanted the same from me changed my backwards thinking mind about the breed.

I usually love really big dogs, like a big dane, doberman or rottweiler but when I moved to an apartment I couldnt have any of those. I was looking for a strong looking dog that was not so big, and thus came to the pitbulls
