toys? |: my dogs destroy everything i give them

6 month apbt I've tried rope toys, I've tried kong black bones, I've tried raw hide tightly coiled so it lasts longer nothing last! I dont know know what else to give them but they have started chewing on walls of the house so i need something fast. i have sustained them for the moment with an old t-shirt tightly knotted so they can grip it and i cut off the loose ends so they didn't have stuff to rip off but i dont think it would be a long term solution.

we use raw meaty bones here, Antlers last the longest { you can buy from the petstore they are expensive there} but if you know a hunter or something where you can snag one cheaper that is best. We do kongs and stuff them with various things, raw hamburger, peanut butter, cheese, yogurt ect and then freeze it over night.
We don't allow the dogs to play with toys unsupervised or mine would destroy them as well so only stick to chew toys for when alone. If he is chewing your walls you may also want to look into crate training , best tool you can use to protect your home and furniture from destruction.

How old is he, this destructive behaviour may be due to pent up energy and if you up th exercise level with him you may notice some improved behaviour. see about making him a flirt pole and get him playing with that, mine love it and it is minimal work for you but they get alot of exercise. You can also look into spring poles as well.

oops sorry just seen 6 months old. For the spring pole and flirt pole he can still use them just at this age make sure all 4 paws can touch the ground. No jumping at this age.

We get the big dinosaur looking bones for ours(our blue heeler is a toy killer) and those last for a long time. We have some marrow bones that we stuffed with peanut butter for them last night and nothing was taking them away from those bones and it kept them busy for almost an hour. Like stated above, look into crate training. Our 5 year old blue heeler would tear up our house when she was left out-her favorite was having a trash party- and she is Houdini and always escapes from her crates but after much much much working and patience she stays in her crate when no one is home. Give a chewy when they're in the crate. Feed in crate. Make it positive. Ours get a chew toy and occasionally our AmBully will take a toy into his kennel that he wants.

what i had to do with my puppy might work for you. cut them off to only a small part of the house. supervise them with toys and let them know that shredding toys wont be tolerated. as they get better, open more of the house to them as a reward. this also works for dogs that like to piss everywhere
