Wow really?
So I'm not wanting to get in an argument about my thought on the names of these dogs but I just had to share the experience I just had. I will post pics of the actual texts as soon as I get done. I was on Craigslist and there was an ad for a "bull pitbull" said she had good bloodlines and came with papers. No pic. I sent a text asking for a pic, what registry, and whether it was a apbt or a bully. He's called me now 4 times. This guy is a real piece of work.

Oh I know how that goes. If my husband was sensible id have a house FULL of them. It's sad when you see things like that. And have someone tell you they'll kill it or its gonna die of no one takes it.

We currently have 9 dogs at our house lol. I decided I wanted to breed Aussies so I went out and bought 2 super nice Aussie pups after months of discussing with my vet on what I needed to look for or what I didn't want lol. My husband bought me a Chihuaha a few years back for Christmas and it is now my sons dog (guess who takes care of it ) and my husband bought me a bully. The rest of my fur family I have ended up with because somebody else didn't want them anymore and I can't say no. I love them all just the same.

My two are a handful themselves I can't imagine 9! Haha. We have a blue heeler lab mix she's 5 and then my little bully and he's almost 9 months. Our oldest HATES other dogs except Cain-for which I am thankful that there have been no problems yet- and Cain loves anyone and any animal. Theyre two hyper pups and if we had a bigger house I would probably have plenty more dogs haha. But it's good there are people like you to care for and open your home to the ones that don't have one

Yea If I could get a nice facility built I would love to start rescuing. We're retired so I have all the time in the world to do it and I have a great vet that loves me lol.

In the pic of her you can see her face is boogered up not sure if she got in a fight or what and she's on a huge chain. I feel for her. I don't understand why people do this. I was just at a loss for words. He didn't want me to answer the phone because I had NOTHING nice to say!

Wow, just WOW! I just had a conversation with a friend who lost their dog about a year ago and she said that her husband is now just starting to think about getting another dog. I said I hope you look at rescuing. She said no, we got our other dog on Craigslist. I think we will go that same route again because we got such a great dog from there. I told her she was d*mn lucky. She may not be as lucky the second time around. I told her to rethink Craigslist, most are byb and you will never really know what you will end up with. I told her she didn't have to get a bully or a apbt. There are many reputable rescues with breeds she was interested in that need a good home. I hope she takes heed.

My husband found my male bully off of Craigslist. They were super nice people that care about their dogs. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. Recently though I had a really bad deal on Craigslist and now I wonder about everything on there. I was only inquiring about this pup because a friend of mine had been looking for one. So here's what happened to me a few weeks ago. I had bought a registered bully female awhile back off of Craig's. She was an older female blue fawn brindle GORGEOUS correct female. The guy talked to me and said he was really worried about her going to a good home but he had to get rid of her ASAP because they lost their house and were having to stay in an apartment with his mom until they could get on their feet and they weren't allowed pets. He told me she was potty trained and great with kids and other animals. We went and picked her up and just fell in love she was beautiful. We brought her home she was great with the kids but she potties ALL OVER my house. She was 5 years old and we tried and tried but couldn't house break her. He obviously was a liar. His phone was shut off immediately so now there was nothing I could do. I didn't want to have a dog on a chain and we couldn't have her loose because we live on a busy road and our neighbor had just shot the leg right off of one of our dogs so I went out and bought her a huge 6 ft tall kennel. We had her about 6 months before we started having issues. She learned she could get on top of her dog house and climb up the top and jump her poor short little legs it was just not safe. She weighed in at 90 lbs and I was terrified she was going to break her leg or hip. I gave $600 for her when I bought her. I paid almost $200 for her shots and heartworm preventative. I really loved the dog so I went and renewed her trifexis for another 6 months and listed her on Craig's for $100 and I was sending her with the 6 months of trifexis which cost me $100. I just wanted her to end up at a great home where somebody could put her in a big fenced in yard. I had hundreds of people contact me about her. I was specific that I wanted to deliver her to make sure where she was going. That turned a bunch of people off and also the fact that I didn't want to sell her for breeding. A guy finally contacted me and sounded perfect. We texted for hours before he finally said I'm actually the guy that sold her to you and I was just checking to see how she was being treated. He gave me this sob story about how they would love to have her back they had a new house with a fenced in yard blah blah but they had a new baby and bought a new car and couldn't justify spending the money on a dog but they loved her. Well here I am melting because I know these people will give her a great home after all that's who I bought her from. So I said I will give her back to you free. I met them at a parking lot and sent diamond with them. I really felt good like I had did the right thing. Later that day I remembered that I hadn't handed him back her papers and emailed him that I would meet back up with him to drop them off. Well 2 weeks later I was on Craig's and there she was for sale for $250. With the story they love the dog but are moving to an apartment where they can't have pets. She's potty trained great with kids and other dogs (sound familiar?) to make matters worse in one of the pics he posted of her she's on a chain dirty and skinny I was sick. He even went to say he lost her papers when he got divorced even though I had them.

@Princesspaola21: That's a terrible story! He let you invest in her just to try to make his money back. What a jerkface! I also got the "apartment story" from my CL seller. I don't think I could ever give her back though because I tried to contact him about her ear crop. He never replied to this day.

If you still have her papers, and he has no bill of sale, she is still your dog. js
