Dog fighting ring supposedly busted
Dog Fighting Operation Busted - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports
I dont know they describe a horrible scene yet what they show contradicts what they said. i didnt see any emaciated dogs, no hips or spines sticking out. looked to be happy friendly dogs. Did not see broken bones or bad scars on them. A couple seemed scared but hey, a bunch of strange people and a fire just before this could be reason for them to seem timid.
They also showed beagles there yet no mention of them, just that it was a dog fighting ring, yet where is the ring? no proof IMO , not saying this person was ok and things were legit but if the media wants to accuse people then atleast show the general public the proof. Love how they said any dog lover will have a hard time watching the next few minutes, I found nothing hard in it at all , was expecting worse.
From what I have read and watched I think more of a hoarder then anything, see no proof of a fighting ring.. but this goes to show how the media can spin things and gain favor without needing any legit proof. The rescue has raised over $28,000 already.... another of my points that rescues are using this breed to make $$$ they were not all pit bulls as they claim yet that is what sob story they use to gain funds. I really didn't see a dog that looked sick or emaciated. One dog looked a bit scared of people. Other than that, they looked healthy.

I agree with you, but I can understand why the owner might not want to come forward. They're already guilty for dog fighting until proven innocent.

I cant judge from a few videos, I would just go off what the investigators turn up, which wont be for a while yet. In any case, those dogs were abused, so even if they were not fought, I'm glad they were rescued. I hear you on the media jumping to label all abuse as dog fighting, but at least ites being covered as ohhh the poor pups lets help find a home, not in the hey kill all those fighting dogs kinda slant!!!
here is another one, hundreds of dogs found killed and only 7 were rescued.

Ames to that link you posted a good friend of mine who owns a pit rescue was which the team that went in to help with the dogs and document. I saw some othet pics they didn't post publicly and it was pretty aweful. These people didn't care for their dogs and they were left in filth and in very poor condition. Anyways that's all I'm gonna say but it was a real bust and on idiot dog fighters that could obviously not give a shit about their dogs fyi! And only 7 dogs werw found alive, my friend may be keeping one of them.

YAY for your friend!!! Glad to hear they are being cared for. Some of the pics were horrendous. I cant imagine what it was like. Glad the 7 were rescued! And glad there is actual confirmation about it being a fighting ring.

I also saw pictures that weren't in this coverage... the person who had these dogs was NOT taking care of them... They were starved, hips, ribs, and spines showing... the housing had no hay that you could see with huge opening, how the heck they were suppose to keep warm is beyond me... there was a pic of one that was beyond skinny and had huge pressure sores over both hip bones.. I didn't see any dogs with scars but these dogs definetly needed out of there... 65 dogs was wayyy to many to have and keep healthy for this man.
