Hey Y'all... So my pups are still potty training, lately they have both been doing GREAT (they were in this habit of as I'm putting the leash on at front door they would squat before I could get them out the door much better now though!!) ANYWAYS, here in Maryland it has been rainy/foggy/misting and my pups look at me like I'm crazy when I bring them outside to pee, my male has gotten to the point he will just pee on our sidewalk, but my female doesn't seem to be interested at all, she will go on the porch sometimes (which is fine with me as long as it is outside) or She ends up either going in the kitchen or just holding it, I don't want a bladder infection for either of them (our mastiff just had one not too long ago and I don't want that vet bill or to put my dogs through that) so I'm just trying to get ideas from y'all on what you do when it's raining or wet with a picky dog lol I know this is a typical thing with dogs I just wanted to know if anyone had good suggestions or way they deal with it.

Cain's Mom

Cain was not a fan of the rain(but he loves water O.o go figure) with him I figured out if we went under a tree he would go there. Our heeler hates water and she gets as close to the house under the awning as she can and will go there. We had a pug who wouldn't go unless he had an umbrella over him haha.

Yeah the pups hate water, I've given them a few baths the poor things cry the whole time and will stand up in the bath and wrap there front legs around my neck and hold on lol ill have to see if the will go under the tree, we have one right outside our back door, we had just stopped using that door with them because they couldn't get up and down the steps, they are big enough now though lol and if that doesn't work ill try the umbrella, I've heard of that one before, I've even seen a leash with an attachable umbrella to cover them lol too cute

Oh my I bet the leash umbrella is funny to see.

Sheba HATES water so having a little place that's dry or not as wet for her to go is what helps us otherwise she holds it. Cain doesn't care as much now but when he did the tree was what helped us since it was so big and not as much rain.
