Bungee Pupee Leash

Hey all,

I came across this leash and was wondering if anyone uses it/has experience with it?? I'm still working with my boy's tendency to walk ahead. He doesn't necessarily pull, though, which is better than when I first got him. I'm doing the about turn technique and I'm having some success with it. I mainly was drawn to this leash because I scooter with him and when we're going at a moderate rate of speed, I don't want him getting distracted and pulling me off the damn thing. Also, does it help with walking ahead or no? Thanks!

I have seen people use them in the ADBA ring. Something similar at least. I know the bike attachments use a bungie like thing to keep the dogs from take you overboard ha

Can't see a pic on my phone view but I like the bungee leash for what your describe. I would yeah proper leash etiquette though. The bungee really helps you not notice the bad walking habits

I have one and have been using it for about a year. I love it! Couple this with a harness and you have a great system for walking/running/whatever. It's built very solidly.

I bought the one that is rated for 150 lbs. I would recommend it to anyone.

Cool! My guy is really eager to get out door and smell the neighborhood smells, do you think this would deter him a little from walking ahead of me initially? The first part of the walk takes the longest because he's so eager that I find myself turning around and walking in the opposite direction a lot. Hopefully having that resistance would make him think twice about it.

I think the elasticity would deter pulling. Lina really doesn't pull that much on walks. And when she does, the snapping back helps reduce it.
