Smelly Ear

Colt has been having a smelly ear and when it smells it is filthy. We have to clean his ear with q tips and cotton pads every day. It seems as if he has some type of infection but it does not bother him. Any ideas?

It could also be a yeast infection: those are very smelly and also produce brown goo

In either event a vet visit would be best

It is an infection more than likely, use some amoxicillin will clear it up. Call the vet, or take them in.

Took Colt to the vet and it is a yeast infection. 1 point for Patch! Got some meds and hasn't smelled for a few days. Thank you all for input, I appreciate it!
