RoundWorms :(
Just bought this white pitbull puppy and I gave him worm medicine yesterday when I took him out this morning it was a long worm in his stool, So I didnt worry about it I just figured the worm medicine was working. So he just went out again to use the bathroom and there literally coming out of him like noodles like there that long and its alot coming out at one time. I called the vet and they said well the worm medicine is just pushing them all out. Is it normal for them to be long? and alot coming out when he uses the bathroom? will it hurt him? None of my other dogs has ever had this problem.

Since he has worms you may want to do another deworming in 2-3 weeks but you can double check with your vet.
We had a similar thing happen to some rescue pups we took in , there pen after there 1st deworming looked like someone threw pasta all over it { i had 4 pups at the time with it} was nasty, we dewormed every 2 weeks for the 1st month then 3 weeks and then went to once a month. They had them pretty bad though.
Did you just get this dog? have you checked for other types of worms as well , are you doing heart worm preventative?

Pick up the poop right away from him for several weeks so you do not infect your other dogs. Keep up with the worming treatments and I would get a stool sample to your vet to make sure you are treating the right ones. He may have round worms but could also be carrying something else. You will have to work several times to make sure you get them all. poor pup!

I would worm every week for several weeks to make sure to get them when they hatch.
