new treats for the kids
Went to Costco on Saturday to get some dog food and a few other things.. saw these and decided to get them
Best part is the ingredients... this is what made me decide to get them

Seems as though many people are still unaware....Although the ingredients look good on paper, there have been many health problems reported to be associated with dog treats and jerky produced in China.

Yeah I like the chicken jerky treats too but I'm a lil wary of them now. I thought about getting a food dehydrater to try and make some myself.

Cut some chicken breast thin, put it on a broiler pan, and put your oven on it's lowest setting for about 6 hours. Pretty tasty stuff. I've been looking for beef lung to make for Ecko. I've been buying it premade and it's freakin' expensive.

I've given those treats to my dogs too in the past, and didn't have any issues. After all of the complaints I've seen though, it makes me a little wary of those brands/types of treats.

glad they were not a part of the recall. My mom sent Gargamel up some for Christmas lol
BUT I did get a food dehydrator, so I can start making my own now. Already made some biscuits and Sweet Potato chips. LOVE IT

Over priced garbage, seriously.. In the middle of several law suits where the dog was healthy, ate a few treats and either became extremely ill or died. Theres a few cases where the animals symptoms were that of given rat poison..This and canyoncreek, same plants make them.. Just like many feeds out there that sound great, look great and are utter shit

I wont trust any jerky treats after all that crap. we got a notice at work talking about the recall and how the FDA has approved these for sale now and pretty much how to talk to customers if they asked us { not that I get asked working in the salon } but to me that is crap. I have sent people away from that crap as well as the rawhide section and even refered food that we dont sell there LOL, If I wont feed it to my dogs I wont turn someone else on to it. I try and stay away from china made stuff,{ hard to do in the pet department, finding strong rubber toys even that are not made in china is tough} I agree though get a dehydrator or even just use the oven and make your own jerky, or bake dog biscuits from scratch, tons of recipes out for that kind of stuff.
