Prepping dog food

I tried talking my girl into doing a raw food diet, but she is opposed to feeding raw meat or chicken to the dogs. She is also totaly against giving them bones, unless she buys them at a pet store. Her idea of prepping dog food is cooking tbem chicken and rice. When I mentioned to her they need bones for calcium she still said no. Then I suggested ground egg shells and she said that is disgusting.
So if anyone can help me out what do you think about this recipie?

Chicken
Chicken livers
Grund beef
Rice
Carrots
Fish oil
what can I use for a calcium source yogurt? Any help would be great. Also if there is anything else I should throw in please let me know thanks in advance.

Rice doesn't have a whole lot of nutritional value unless it is whole grain rice. If you aren't going to go raw, and haven't done the research to properly feed cooked meals, you should just find a good quality kibble instead.

I feed it, but we did kibble for a long time before. Acana and Orijen are very good kibbles.
I don't know too many people who home cook. The few I did don't do it anymore because they couldn't get the balance right. It takes A LOT of research. Same with raw too though.
Good luck in the food finding.

Is there a certain place that sells those? I will read up more on cooked and raw for now but haven't tried those before.

If you have a Tractor Supply Co. nearby I recommend their 4Health dog food. I've been using it for several months now and love it. Plus its totally affordable.
