My Pit Cameron has Diarrhea but why?

My pit Cameron has come down with diarrhea it happened as soon as the new female we got went straight into heat he is 11 months and has never been around a female in heat and he is not fixed. He is gassy and it was straight liquid now i am giving him pumpkin from a can and it has thickened out a little and the end of it is solid. I called three different vets and they all have said just give him pumpkin and wait. Because he isnt in any pain and is eating and acting perfectly fine. I want to know what else i can do and Is this all because she is in heat and he is going crazy to tie with her? PS she is getting fixed on Jan 16

could just be stress 1st time dealing with this . I know my males get worked up and usually lose there appetite when the girls are in heat. I would stick with the pumpkin and if wanted you could add some probiotics to his food as well , just a small amount.
she is new to the home? has she been vet checked at all? dewormed? has he been dewormed regular?no change in diet? Best guess would be stress but really could be a hundred reasons why a dog can come down with diarreah.
While he is like this watch his fluid intake, you don't want him getting dehydrated if it is severe so just make sure he is drinking enough, could add pedyalite to help with the electrolytes or chicken broth .

I do daily pumpkin for my pup. It keeps the regular. Helps not too loose or not too firm

Could be an over growth of bacteria in the gut if it doesn't go away. If it persists the best thing to do is take a stool sample to the vet and they will tell you for sure.
