Hot spot

What causes hot spot? My girl had it when she was around 3-4 months. Was it because her stomach was real low to the grown?

Hot spot

Our pug used to get them in the spring and summer bad. that was it. It was seasonal and he got A monthly shot for them and some cream to put on the spot. Occasionally they'd pop up in winter or fall but that was rare. They'd make him itch something bad.

Hot spot

I think it's like an allergy. Our pug got a cortisone shot monthly and cream we put on it. The shots helped tremendously.

My ex use to call it crate rot! lol When they get sores on the belly like that it's just an irritation of dirty and hot damp area aggravated by licking. It happens a lot but is no reason for concern. A little triple antibiotic cream helps too. A true hot spot is more on the top side of the dog and can be caused by lots of different things from dry skin to an allergy.

hotspot

I was told that corn was the reason my 4mth old POCKET was getting hotspots was because i was feeding her food that has corn in it. i immediatley switched to Solid Gold Wolf cub. it has gotten better but its been about a month now and it hasnt gone away completely. She has a slightly bald spot on her back down by her tail not quite above it but to the right a little and on the front of her left leg the spot is alot more bald. She isnt "fea biting" at it as bad but occastionally she will. How do i get it to go away?
