My 13 week female pit didn't eat her dinner lastnight or breakfast this morning. She had her 3rd set of shots Monday and did fine Monday. Tues she started with a new sitter, not sure If this is a result of her new environment and the excitement of the sitters dog and two kids or her shots. She is drinking water and playing like usual just not eating. Her sitters Dog had parvo three months ago, received one treatment, perked up and never received any other treatments. Help! I'm worried about my baby!

Did the sitter bleach her house and lime her yard?

who said her dog had parvo? I have never heard of a parvo positive dog being treated once and being miraculously better. Have you dewormed the dog? I personally would not worry over a couple skipped meals as long as the dog is drinking and acting normal. Now if she were to stop drinking as well or acting lethargic then I would call the vet to get her in. This sounds normal to me, pups go through growth spurts where you can see them eating alot more then normal and then they calm down and appetite may be supressed a bit. Not a huge concern here. If it was parvo I would not take her to that home until you know for sure it was properly sanitized with bleach , as well as the yard. parvo can live a long time.

The vet told the sitter it was parvo. I know she bleached her house not sure about the yard. This is my first puppy so I appreciate any feedback and help! I dnt want my baby to get sick! Dallas has been dewormed 3 times.

has she completed all he shots yet? Im paranoid about parvo so to me I would not take a pup there at all.
