micro chipping??
i was thinking of getting maximus microchipped....it doesnt seem like a bad idea to me.....does anyone have any info on if it might be harmful or anything like that......the research ive done says its not but its always good to get different opinions you know......

Never heard about it being harmful or causing any problems. Doesn't seem to irritate the skin or anything like that. I microchip all my dogs its cheap and its a good way to indentify them as yours in case something happens. Collars can be taken off or broken and lost..same with tags.

nah..it doesnt hurt..ive been doing some research and have an appt with vet for tomorrow....seem pretty cool and well worth it.....just wanted to get some opinions on it.......ill put a post after maximus gets his......

I see alot of dogs that are chipped but have no info attached because they werent registered or expired. some you have to renew/reregister every year, some are perm for a 1 time fee so beware. I cant recall the names

in australia yeh info goes on the micro chip and stay on there as far as im aware?

We use Homeagain is what we use so far they are wonderful I can log in on thier site and change all my info from there aswell as renew it's great!
