breed discrimination
Hi, this is Ron here. I am a canine behavior consultant and trainer. My website
is dogbite-expert.com.
I also serve as an expert witness in legal cases involving pitbulls all over the US. I believe that pitbulls and other so called "dangerous" or "vicious" breeds
are getting unfair treatment. Every dog is an individual as you already know
but in courts all over the country and in other parts of the world Pitbulls
are dying simply because they are pitbulls.
If you have successfully defended your dog in a dangerous dog hearing
or in court in a dog bite case I would like to hear about it. How did you
get the judge, jury or animal control officers to look at your dog as an
individual instead of a "bad breed."
You can contact me at my website dogbite-expert.com with your story and advice. Maybe we can save innocent dogs from their current fate in the future.

Hi, Ron! Glad you decided to join our site. We can definitely use someone like you on our team and as a member of the pack here! I personally do not have any experience in the area you're referring to, as far as legal issues, thankfully. But, I do look forward to interacting with you more in the future.

Welcome!!
I would to like to think that no one would have to defend their dog in bite case, most of us would put down a dog that bit someone. We are responsible as owners of these dogs to prevent this from happening.
Now, if someone was breaking into my house and threatening my life and one of my dogs happened to step in, yes I would fight quite viciously in court for that.

Welcome! Always happy to meet more advocates of this breed!
I don't have any legal stories, But I did have to fight my neighborhoods homeowners association in regards to owning 4 pit bulls. Long story short, I purchased my house prior to the HOA being set-up, I chose not to join the HOA when it was started, Therefore my property is "grandfathered" in, Meaning I don't have to abide by any new rules imposed by the HOA.
This royally upset my neighbors, Which I happily wave to every morning while walking 4 APBT's in front of their houses

Well anyone with a pit bull should not need your services since the dog should be put down at the nearest vet. If you are on the up and up welcome if you are part of some of some group that ia against these breeds then well I hope you move along soon.
So for now welcome and I hope you dont find any of these stories you need here since pit bulls should not need to be biting.

Hi and welcome. I hope you don't find any stories here that would help prove our dogs are vicious.

Hello Ron! I find that a lot of issues like that occur here in Washington where I live, the majority of agression in dogs is entirely blamed on pitbulls. I am currently arguing with my apartment complex about my pitties, but it was their error that when I moved in, nothing was stated about a breed restriction, and they said that dogs up to 60lbs were allowed. Both my dogs are right around that weight limit, and the apartment manager told me that it was fine if they weren't right at 60lbs, if they were a little more it was just fine. Now that they know they are pitbulls, they are getting angry with me. Nowhere in my lease or anywhere on their website does it say anything about dog breed restriction. So any advice you would have on this matter for me would be greatly appreciated, as I think it is unfair that they bring up this rule after the fact. Any apartments I'd looked at previously CLEARLY stated if they didn't allow bully breeds.
Anyhow, I'm new here too, just thought I'd say hi, and maybe you could give me some advice too? Thanks!
