Hey good for you! I look forward I pictures. Just curious for new dog owners taking a pup so young I always ask why. I'm assuming your a new owner cause you came here looking for advice. Pups usually stay with the litter until 8 weeks so they get socialization skills with their siblings. They don't "need" their mother except to correct their behavior. It's not impossible to have a dog taken so young just curious as to why. And you are right purina is crap. It's like McDonald's for pups. I would see if he would let you bring a bag of quality kibbles over before he switches if he is feeding that. Is it a breeder? Are you getting papers with your dog? The reason I ask is blue is a rare color for the pit bull. It's very common for the American Bully or and American Staffordshire Terrier breeds, not the
APBT. Also blue is just the nose color or color of the dog's coat. It is a dilute of black and lots of breeds have blue dogs. Its not a bloodline or other identifier of the breed. Some people feel the dog is rare or a BYB might try and convince people they are rare but that's not the case.
