so Ammaryllis is now a little over 7months, 40lbs, but her head when looking straight ahead comes to about my knee and her back comes to half of my shin. she seems to be getting thicker and wider but not taller, which is fine by me i like that she is more medium size than large! but i was wondering if this means shes more pocket pit or bully type?

Who cares what type she is! She's alive! That's all I care about.
But really wait a few more months to see how she matures and grows. She still has time before she physically matures

that's how i feel too, but ppl keep asking and they don't like Turkey Pig (her hind legs are big like turkey drumsticks and she snorts like a pig) as the answer to what type of pit is she!!!! she's my spoiled little pup who gets all the love and snuggles i can give her! she is lucky to be alive and im glad i was rescued by her!!! shes able to add laughter to the worst day!!!! (usually when her attempts to jump on the couch with a toy fail) i am so lucky to have a neighbor next door who has a rescue and who is especially picky with her pit adoptions (Halfway There Rescue)!!!! and im glad to have found a site like this where so many ppl just loves these dogs for what they are, our best friends!!!

There are no types of "pits". There is only the American pit bull Terrier and I can guarantee you she is not an APBT. Just call her a mutt or mix, because that's what she is. I think that rescues who call these dogs "pits" just further confuse people. Non the less I'm happy that pup has you in her life, you've done a wonderful job.
