Hello , my name is Amy . I have recently become a Pitbull mix mom,not sure what she is mixed with,its anyones guess really. She is 1 year and 3 months old. She was originally pulled from an abusive situation but the girl that had her couldn't afford to keep her . She now lives with me and its where she will stay till she is old and fat haha. I have been told that she has had a litter of pups and by the way she pushes the other dog under her she either lost her liter or they were taken from her too soon. She is fearful of many things so we have a long road but she is worth it
I came here as she is my first Pit, and I would love to keep in touch with fellow owners for advice
So far we have had her to the Vet for all her shots and she is enrolled in obedience classes,unfortunately we haven't really been able to start her training as she is still nervous and her trainer wants to allow her to become comfortable with the place. We don't want to rush her we don't know her whole story.

Zeus is also my first Pit and a rescue,I ADORE him and can't IMAGINE our life without him.He just turned 5 and he's been my constant companion and best friend since he was 8 months old.He to had a lot of fear issues and separation anxiety when I first got him.Like you said it was a long road but absolutely worth every mile
Wish I would've known about, and joined GP when I first got him,even though I think he's PERFECT, and he has over come a lot of his issues I could have really benefited from GP right from the start!You have come to the right place for info and advice I've only been a member a short time and I've learned so many things!Again Welcome and Enjoy
