Cute puppy!! Blue nose is a term to refer to the color of the dog's nose,it is not a "type" of pit bull. Your dog looks black anyway, as for the weight training you definitely want to wait till he is older to start that up. Have you checked out the weight pull training section?

Oh and welcome!!!

That he does look black but when you look at him he has a real nice blue tint which everyone complaints on. and as the weight training I am gonna wait till about 6 months n have him start wearing a walking vest then get a pull vest n maybe 5 pounds max if that to start him out to get use to that then about 1.5 years start him pulling heavier stuff.

Does he have a red/brown undertones as well? If so that would be seal. My dog appears black but out in the sunlight he has blue and gold cast to his fur. Looks like this in the sun.

I would get in touch with a weight pulling club near you, otherwise you are setting yourself up for an injured dog that doesn't know how to pull correctly. No weight until he is full grown, you can get him used to pulling around empty jugs or something but until he is a year or so I wouldn't put weight on him. Also you may want to have his hips/legs xrayed to make sure he is sound as well, were his parents pull dogs or health tested at all? Lot of leg issues in poorly bred APBT these days. Not a "blue nose" either as stated, looks black to me but sounds like he could be seal.
