thanx in advance.
There are a few breeders of the OFRN but they are few. You can search on line and they will come up. To name a few, Arizona Red Rock,Frank Morgan in Florida, BeR Kennels in Washington and of course me in Philadelphia. OFRN in the purist sense have or come down from Hemphill's Geronimo and Red Dixie in every generation. You will also see Wise's Maximillion and Ross Red Devil, They all come down from Furgerson's Centipede and all are down from the lightner dogs. Hemphill and Clouse interbred their dogs so you will see Clouse dogs way back in these pedigrees. Below is a link to a pedigree of what an OFRN peds. should look like, look at what's behind the modern generation, Hemphil,Wilder should appear in "every" generation.

Thats some tight breeding on Red Apache.
What was the main apeal of him? Was it ability or bloodlines?

Not sure..

I've only been into these OFRN's for about 6 years and my mentor died just as he was educating me on their history. There is a fellow named Heavy Shumard that is very knowlegable but he's not very talkative. His dogs are in my dogs peds and he is quite reputable but he does not sell to the public. I use to be into Jeep/Bolio and I had a Mayday bitch but I got rid of them to concentrate on my OFRN.

Yes I agree,

I am sure that some where out there deep in some woods or hills is someone with the tightest blood imaginable. I found Tommy Johnson of Tennessee by pure accident, that's who I got my Koda dog from. Tommy was a wealth of knowlegde,he personally knew Wilder and his friends Pruitt, Sitzes, John High of Red Rock and he mentioned Heavy Shumard. These were and are people big in the OFRN world, I miss Tommy,,we were planning some big things before he discovered he had cancer. I plan to do a few more breeding before I quit in a few years, I'm not a young or well man. Before I go I have to find another "keeper of the flame". There is a young man out in California, he has some very nice OFRN blood with some very heavy Clouse in the line, he's where I got my "Z" dog from but he's so far away and he doesn't have the land to take my dogs. Before I depart I hope to leave behind some very tight OFRN dogs. I read some people on this forum say that OFRN dogs are show without drive . Well,,,let me put those thoughts to rest. My Jeep dog Ceaser made the mistake of agitating my Koda and some how Ceaser got into Koda's yard.............well Koda gave Ceaser all he could handle and then some. It took me quite awhile to untagle them and 800.dollars in vet bills to sort that out. After that I had to send Ceaser to another kennel because there was never any peace in the yard after that. For those that may read this please be aware that I do not match dogs or ever will but remember when you have and deal with our breed be prepared for "yard accidents". I learned my lessons the hard way,,I too use to think it's how you raise and train your dog,,,well,,you'll learn when two pure bred dogs get tangled in your living room it is one scary situation esp. when you are not prepared.

Can someone tell me how I may insert pictures?

Don't I know it!

I have had some bad ones in my day as well.
I get visitors that don't understand the rules.
All the dogs are rotated because my Adult Mastiffs HATE my pit bulls.
My pits don't really care about fighting but when they got jumped on it was a mess to get them off. I never had many pedigree pits. Most were scatterbred. I always wanted a Deep Red OFRN or a buckskin Jeep dog. I will have to wait till my old boy passes away or I get a bigger property first. I will always have a pit bull in my yard.
