that was a good dog. I saw that video a few months ago. very sad tho that the dog got bit int he process of saving the family

Thats sad. What would the story have been if Pit Bulls had been banned there? It's tough watcing them go. I had a 6 week old pup bit by a copperhead. It swelled up and took about 20 minutes to die. Hard to watch not being able to do anything for it.

I had a male that died from a snake bite. We would chain him outside when we weren't home, or he would pee on everything. I was @ work and Joe was only gone for about an hour. When he got home, he was just laying there. He was swollen and you could see where he had been bit. We always thought he choked b/c his neck was really big. I miss that dog.

now thats what i call loyalty, what a great dog, died saving the person it loved. I wish more people could see and understand that these dogs are very loyal loving animals.

I find it completely heart breaking....I have no idea what I would do if it was my Boobers dying and gasping for her last breath, that family must be devastated!

You are so right!!! They will do anything to protect their family. That is partly what makes them a great dog. The loyalty and devotion you get from them is endless. Just wish more people understood that!
