Hi I was a paralegal for Brian Caubreaux in Marksville Louisiana. It was for a personal injury office and I was a Escrow officer for Magnolia Title in Baton Rouge on the real estate side. I loved it but I am expecting and my hjusband and I decided for me to stay home and raise my babies. Sorry took so long for me to reply I have been super busy with getting everything ready for the baby coming in 3 weeks.

Thanks we are good, I was going to start a thread on that now. The smoke is so bad it turns the sky red and ash is falling. We are a really safe distance from the fires but the smoke is horrible. I had to cancel my agility classes last Thursday it was so bad and the dogs were getting covered in ash. I also have had a few asthma attacks from the smoke and I have not had one in years. I have picture and video of how bad it is and I will try and post it today.

they didn't get out due to bsl... They sold their dogs before they sold their house and moved... But now they definitely can't have any due to bsl where they moved to... Also I made excel spread sheets to keep track of training when I am doing specialized things like tracking. I am just use to multi tasking so I pretty much remember where everyone is but the spread sheet really helps

Take dog mace with you, I suggest this stuff called "Halt" look for it online to see what it looks like then find it at your local pet stores. Make sure you always walk with your cell phone!!
Next take her by that house across the street and make her sit. If that dog comes out of his property within 6 feet of you MACE it! If they get upset call 911 and let the cops handle it Or threaten to call the cops for their dog rushing you and they will back off. If your dog even so much as looks at that dog correct her. She should be on a prong collar too. Get the small ones and just add extra links do not use the big ones. Also if your going to use a prong like that have a slip chain that fits a little lose and have your leach on both. Prong collars have been known to pop off.
Use that as a training opportunity as kick her butt for looking or hackling up. Just because a dogs is barking at my dogs does not mean they can react, they learn they have to look away. When you correct you pop straight up and say "no!" and if you need too hold her front feet off the ground till she stops going after the dog.
