musasayegh is an unknown quantity at this point
This is Bane, my blue nose pit and he is about a year and a half now. I was told that pits normally fully develop at age 2. He goes goes for walks about every other day and take him to my local dog park once a week. He eats about 2 to 3 cups of Bill Jac with some home cooked foods (he's a picky eater sometimes) Anyway I was just wondering if this is normal that he is this size at this point and if anyone has had their dog develop slower than usual. Just want to make sure he is in good health

**also I was wondering what do you guys feed your pit? I used to feed mine blue wilderness but it's pretty expensive.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum musasayegh. Bane is a good looking boy but there is no way of telling if he is small or large without seeing his pedigree papers. If you could post his peds it will help as they will show his lineage. Just as a FYI, there is no breed that is a "blue nose pit. The blue only describes the color of the dogs nose and not a bloodline.

As Joe & JoKealoha have said, it's very hard to say without weight and/or papers. I think there is a very common misconception that APBT's/pit mixes are large dogs. A true APBT can vary from as small as 25lbs full grown to about 60 lbs max fully grown. They are a medium breed, not a large one. Different bull breeds vary in size and shape and mixes can be pretty much anywhere depending on what their mixes are. To me your pup looks lean but not "small" from what I can see.

I feed Taste of The Wild Pacific Stream to my 3 mutts. I have a big girl mutt who is almost 9 and weighs about 75 lbs now and 2 9 month old mutts that are both somewhere around the 45-50lbs mark. All are definitely bull breed mixes with my little ones more APBT and my big girl APBT/Am Staff maybe along with some other possibilities? All three love this food and have done well on it. It's reasonably priced and a solid grain-free choice. I personally love www.chewy.com for their prices and super fast, free shipping including auto ship. We go through about 2 30lbs bags a month for all three.

Hope that helps!

Oneofthepack is an unknown quantity at this point
He is s good looking boy . I agree with the other posts with out a lineage there is no way to know how big hr should get . I will say this pits grow up to about 3yrs. And a pit at its purest I meen a true old world pit is only about 45 - 80lbs . with exceptions of course I have 4 all papered and pedigreed 3 female 1male . two are sister's and full grown at 3yr.8 mo.one Is 53.4 lbs one is 65.7 my oldest female is 9 yr. She is 85.4 and my lil boy is 15mo. And he is a freak of nature at 105.7lb and my boy before him was his dad and he only got to 86 lbs.at his biggest blood lines meen a lot but sometimes mother nature throws in a curve for fun....
Just keep in mind a properly motivated 45 lb. Pit is more then enough to make a bad guy wish he never met the lil guy

I feed wolf king gold I also supplement in dried fish , elk ,hog and whatever other game I have.
