Dakota and I attended the national championships this year, and we had a blast! Got to meet several people from a few different forums, including Tina (aka Kingsgurl) and Lauren. I was bummed I didn't get to see Happy jump in the semi-finals, they held Junior and Pro semi-finals at the same time. But Odin was a charmer, very sweet, and polite boy.
Dakota did awesome! I'm very proud of him, he handled it well. And we've made progress in his excitement, trying to build up speed. I got him going a bit insane on the practice dock... and barking continually while heeling and playing around... I think I may have created a monster. lol
If you're wondering why I'm trying to get him excited, trying to build speed, as he sort of casually lopes down the dock.
Dakota got 1st in the Pro division Super V championships, top German Shepherd Dog of the year, and 7th in the Pro championships (cuz momma couldn't throw to save her life... and I practiced a bit after, changed up my throw a bit and he was back jumping in his normal 20 plus
