I have a hard time staying mad at my babies as well. It is just something about their cute little faces. Like they are saying I did not know any better, or I'm sorry. You just have to love them no matter what.

Separation anxiety/boredom... We crate our girl when we're gone or I'm sure she'd get into some things... We once left her out of her crate and just closed her in the bedroom... Bye bye iPhone charger! I'm sure she enjoyed the bed though haha. Nothing to get too upset about. We get stir crazy too! And what do we humans do when we're stressed or bored? Eat? Lol

it might be hard to stay mad at them but you need to take actions to prevent it from happening again.. destroying things like that can be fatal if something is swallowed.. i would definately consider crating while i was gone

My puppy just started doing that and she destroys every toy we give her lol. The only thing we have luck with are ham bones and crating of course. You gotta crate them. Period.

If my boys are allowed to have free reign with there toys they would get destroyed too. They only get there toys when we are playing together with them then they get put back up. The only things they are allowed to have are bones and antlers, things that are made for them to chew on.

I'd also get crates for them. Anything could happen while your a way and its definitely better to be safe then sorry. If they swallow stuffing from they you they could get a blockage or get into something that could make them sick. Another thing I'd worry about is what could happen if they had a fight while you were away. Even if they've always been fine with each other anything could be a trigger. A toy, food, even a piece of trash can be a trigger that causes them to fight and with you not there to break it up that could be fatal. These breeds are very powerful and a fight between them is not like a scrap between two other dogs. It can get very violent and potentially fatal.

Oh yea, she already said they guard toys and stuff. They've been aggressive towards each other before. They most definitely need to be crated and trained. Chelsea you can start on your own. Rent books from the library. Research the Internet. There are things you can do on your own to get things started you can never leave these dogs alone. You just NEVER KNOW!!! I trust my dogs to the utmost. But I don't ever leave them alone.
