Great pictures but I have to say this: pleas invest in a real collar. Chains do not work as collars, they are dangerous and can embed in the dog's neck and cause serious pain and infection.

I have a few, he is walked on a slip lead, he's never walked on the chain, I just have him wear it around the house so I have something to grab onto when he starts to play to rough with my other dogs, it doesn't stay on for long nor does he ever get tied up nor walked with it. He's getting a new collar tomorrow (:

Yeah I completely understand the dangers of chains and everything of the sort, I've done so much research on the breed, it was just a temporary. Also found out he's allergic to regular cheaper nylon collars as his neck turns red, but I found a nice substitute, and might I say his new purple collar goes perfect with his coat color. Also picked up a prong and properly sized it and its working wonders, so much better than the slip lead I used to use. He's amazing on walks, I've been working on that for a couple months now, and I've got it down pretty well. New pics comming soon !

i think the nylon thing is whats been goin on with my boy lately... if i leave one on him for a extended periods of time he starts to loose his fur around his neck a lil. im gunna try getting a padded one and see if that will help. but yes, a well sized and well fitting prong collar will do wonders! i like my prong very much so :P

Yeah I switched to a padded one, it seems to be working well, he likes it and he has no missing fur or red neck ! I'd give it a shot. And they work wonders!
