well.... lets see where to start lol... always a tough one convincing fam...
well first and foremost, you have a puppy. and a puppy will be a puppy. your dog may be a little more vocal or rough just becuase thats his personality. My dog was vocal when she was younger... just the way she was... what could help ease the tension would be consistant training. if you can train the pup to stop whatever he is doing, barking, biting, running, rolling act and have him sit and focus on you, your family will see u have complete control over you dog. i know with kenya, WHATEVER she is doing, the moment i say "eyes" shell stop come to me and sit and look at me. when i say "go ahead" she is allowed to go back to whatever she is doing.
growling: your husband needs to correct that behavior. he needs to tell the pup to stop, or tap his nose. the pup for the most part is playing IMO, i dont think he is challanging anyone yet.
your fams gonna have their opinions, but the best way to convince them is to show how well behaved your dog is. knows all his commands, listens, and is lovable.
thats my advice, im sure some of the more seasoned owners will have some imput. as i only have experience with my one pooch lol
goodluck
