6 month old pup "testing" my kids

My 6 month old pup is starting to "test" his limits with my boys. I have an 11 year old and 8 year old. When my 11 year old told Mason to get off the sofa, he wouldn't listen. He was chewing his new antler & was starting to make a drool puddle on the sofa. Then when Daylon went to grab hold of Mason's collar he kind of nipped at him. I went over to him & told him "off" he listened to me. I also took the antler away from him. What's a good way to work with Mason & the kids? My boys love working with him with his obedience & he's usually good. But l noticed this past weekend, he seems to be testing the boys, like sibling rivalry.

mi16reisen is an unknown quantity at this point
Pup is teenager. He sees himself as above your boys, or at least trying to establish himself as so.

That's what I was thinking. I'm wondering, what's best way to correct this as I see it happening at that very moment?
