Depends on how active your dog is and the age of the dog. When dealing with highly manufactured food more protein is not always good protein. Some dogs just can't handle more protein in their diet other can. If your dog is highly active every day it could benefit him. However high protein kibble can cause serious kidney function problems if the dog doesn't need that kind of protein intake. So alot ti consider if switching would be good or bad. Some dogs even have digestion type problems from to much protein. Just really depends on the dogs and the circumstances which that live.
