yeah I also don't like that he wasn't there, so he has no idea if the dog entered the house or was greeted in the front yard by the dog. I didn't buy the dog was going for the kid though, especially if it knows the dog lived there, I would totally chalk it up to entering looking for the dog. Initially reporting it like the dog saved the little girls life was reaching, IMO but who knows. Just sucks, keep your dog contained!!!
