In my opinion its never too early to start training.
Right now you can enforce no biting by giving puppy a toy, and yelping if puppy nibbles.
You can always start with sit too when you feed.
And definitely leash traing.
Even if it's just letting puppy walk around the house with it on, its a good idea to start now.
These dogs need to be on leash at all times, except when in your back yard, and even then if puppy is a digger I suggest a lead.
Socialization at this age is really important to, with kids, humans and dogs.
Good luck and congrats on the new baby!!!

How old is your puppy? I believe you can start training good manners and basic obedience as soon as the puppies are steady on there feet.

If you want to show don't start teaching sit until later. Teach the puppy to stand first.

Training in what agility or Obedience? I start my puppies very young and get them use tho walking over things at a young age like under 12 weeks. By they time they have had all their vaccines then it is time to take them to a puppy obed cass and a puppy Agility class.
You can start foundation training and shaping as early as 5-6 weeks old but small sessions only a few mins because they are so young. If you are new training I suggest going to training school do not waste your money and time at pestmart or petco. Go to a privately owned dog training school and start in puppy class after your pup has had all the parvo/distemper vaccines.
