Spring Pole work out muscles. We put ours lower to the ground so that they can reach it and have more pulling and using those legs. When they hang they still get a good workout of most of the body.

It seems to work out mostly the back legs but also, if the dog shakes when holding on to the toy or hide or whatever it can work the whole body.

Loki has had a lot of spring pole time since the weather is getting nicer and he is starting to get muscles I didn't even know he had!

I think if you use it correctly... with the dogs back legs touching the ground and have a good spring to it... it works neck, back, legs... full body. I love this video and this dog is getting and AWESOME work out... crossposted from feari nekos thread dansbander...

enjoy!

spring pole

It really depends on the position of the spring. The closer to the ground works more muscles, they can use all four legs, neck and back. if you hang the pole it mostly works the neck and back not to much on the legs. Hope this was helpful...
