Exclamation Too young for a walk?

I have a 7 month old Pitbull and I'm planning to do a 30-minute walk with him.

Is he too young for that?

Would it affect his health or let's say his growth?

Hope someone can help me on this.

Thanks

not at all, my pup is 7 months too and we go on two 30-45 minute walks. one in the morning and one before it gets dark.

no hard running yet, wouldnt be good for his joints. fetch is good becuase they'll run at their own pace. a slow jog in a grass field would be OK though.

but your fine to pretty much walk him untill he's tired at that age. once he's 10 months or so jogging would be good, and running is fine by the time he's a year.

you can walk your puppies but you should not to too long, you can hurt growth plates. I start agility as early as 6 weeks but of course no jumping just getting use to jumps with no bars and the contact equipment (not the a fame unless it is almost flat) we are talking about continuous walking or jogging.

i started walking my pup at 8 weeks too, but it wasnt even a 10 minute walk, you dont want to over do it. it was more to get him used to the leash than an exercise.

If you plan on taking your pup out into the public, then you should really wait for the course of jabs to be completed.
