I know he works his dogs on them and other show people have worked their dogs on them and they have quite a few champions so they must work good as well. I have seen these at shows and I like them as well. I'll look for his info.
you know someone that makes mills in michigan?!!

Hi there,
Treadmills are nice, because a walk that may condition a person (20-45 minutes) does not do a dog justice. Maybe if the dog is just starting out (pre-condtioning)...However, to really condition your dog, you would need to walk him for almost 4 hours a day. I prefer a slat mill, but electric mills ar nice too. I own a Carpet mill( sometimes called a belt mill), but I rarely use it. It builds muscle more than it conditions aerobically. Plus, many dogs will not run a carpet mill. If you have a dog that already runs a slat mill, or electric mill easily, they may like a carpet mill. The positives of the carpet mills: are less expensive, and you can condition a dog in less time. Most dogs are whipped after 20-30 minutes on a carpet mill, where they can run an hour on a slat mill.
