Treadmill advice

Hello!
I live in NYC with my Amstaff Sherlock and we need some advice! During the hot summer days the exercise walks are being cut short which results in him being hyper and difficult to manage. We live in a small apartment in Manhattan, so not too much room to work with inside. I love the idea of a portable or foldable treadmill if there is such a thing for lager dogs?
Any idea or recommendations would be highly appreciated

Thanks
Malin and Sherlock

Not sure about a portable but I use a full size treadmill with my dog and if you want you can raise the tread and store it vertically. Doesn't take much floor space that way. Mine is a life saver when it is too cold, icy or rainy here in Chicago.

We want to pick up a cheap used one for the youngin's. You can try looking into a carpet mill; may be a bit smaller to store? I'm not sure but great thinkin' on the treadmill.

You won't regret it come Winter Jess and Winter is coming (just ask Jon Snow).
Seriously, I taught both of mine to walk on the tread mill their first Winter. Really helps especially with pups, They train pretty easy, first with leash and treats but now I just tell them "up" and point to the tread. I turn it on, set the elevation and wait for their tongue to hang out of their mouths, LOL.

I use the tread mill every night and often my girl Athena will go on the same time as me and we walk together.

IDK what GoT you've been watching but Winter is HERE! I'll just hit up my girl Dany to have Drogon light me up a bonfire to stay warm

The treadmill is on the top of list of things to buy, not only for the pups but for myself as well. When I got diagnosed with RA last year, the long term steroid use caused me to put a lot of weight on but with my work schedule and dog duties I don't get much exercise in as I would like for myself and don't have the energy or motivation to actually drive to a gym! I would love to have a treadmill in the house for ALL of us to use but since they "grow 'em bigger in Hawaii" (according to hubs) I need one that can withhold his 300+ lbs frame and that's proving quite the task.

Kaos is turning into quite the laid back chill young man; I would like to get him up and moving more and increase his stamina. He's getting lazy! Nala would definitely benefit from it. That girl is like the energizer bunny and can just go and go!

Someday, hopefully sooner rather than later.
