Play fighting OK?

I have a *very* submissive lab/something mutt at the house and just got my new pit rescue pup Sissy. Since day 1 Sissy has been biting at his neck playfully but not until today have I seen him engage in any play fighting. She seems to have coaxed him out of his shell but now that he is engaging her I wonder will this turn into violence when she gets older? My lab has a very soft bite so I'm not so much worried about him hurting her but the idea of her one day getting carried away and injuring him makes me anxious. We will never leave them alone together while we are away, could a fight turn bad even in our presence?

Thanks for all the help so far! This is my first puppy, my other dogs have been older rescues all my life so it's a learning experience.

Oh and one other thing, when I take her on walks (she's loving them now) on the way back she always wants to turn into a sprint, is this OK so long as it as at her own pace? At her first shots a few days ago they said she is about 10 weeks judging by her teeth.

I have 2 one year old pitbulls and they play fight like that, but I never let them alone I am always watching for the first sign that things are getting heated than we go in the house. They are not aloud to wrastle in the house.
