Taking her for long walks is good exercise. She actually looks like she's at a good weight right now. Puppies go through growing stages and sometimes look more lanky. There is no way to tell if she will take after the mother or the father. I'm confused about the mom is a terrior and the dad is a rednose. There is only one kind of pit bull. The American Pit Bull Terrier. They do come in different colors though.

A 3.5 month old pup is in the 50lb mark? what and how much are you feeding and what are the bloodlines in him? that doesnt sound right, im assuming its an XL bully who most likely has mastiff mixed in thats insane big for a normal bred american bully let alone an APBT.

I agree! I've seen great dane and mastiff pups weigh that around the 4 month mark but that doesn't sound right for a bully pup to weigh that much at such a young age.

I give my 4month old pit calf manna and taste of the wild to put weight on her, I also heard that a raw diet will do it also

...Or just a proper diet and feeding amount.

Pictures are small but looks to me your pup went from a pretty good weight to well over weight.

What the hell kind of information got passed along in this thread? So much horrible information except a few posts.

Lvis pretty much all those foods use cheap as hell ingredients and are no better than the feeds you talk down of except Orijen. Cheap, inconsistent and does not meet what a dog needs to thrive day in day out.. Nutro top dog feed? LMFAO more like one of the top garbage over priced feeds that out source.

Terrier and red nose? Someone got suckered into some advertising.

The type of dog he has is not meant to be "bulky"? Who even knows WHAT the dog is..

Sigh.. I have a headache already.

Easy there killer, this is an old thread, no need for popcorn here. LOL!

To the last two that posted in this old thread... the only way to "bulk up" your dog is exercise and supplement that with a PROPER diet. And at mere MONTHS old, "bulking up" should be the last thing on your minds. Raising a healthy, balanced puppy should be your A#1 goal right now.

How much are you feeding him?? You shouldnt be seeing ribs that easily. If you want him to get bigger, feed him a higher calorie food or raise the amount you're giving.
