what springdo you use for your spring pole?

just trying to get an idea of what kinds of springs other people use for there spring poles.
right did use two garage door springs with 70#'s resistance with each one.
i dont want to build a large set up but i can never find smallers springs that i feel will "work" them.
so; where did you get it?
are you happy with it?
resistance load?
do you feel its working your dog out?

pics?

Should be able to saw it in half. Use heavy pliers to re-bend the end into a loop.

porch swing spring, about 7 inches long, comes in many different ratings. you can find them at home depot, lowes, or on line.

I was advised to buy a boat spring(sorry i don't know the english name, but the on you put on the rope you tie the boat to the dock with)

But I'm not sure what spring to buy? 110Kg. spring, or 210kg(the resistance needed to pull the spring fully out)?

onyx weighs 29lbs and i have a 52lb spring that he plays with now. and he stretches that to its limits. he still has his 4 legs on the ground also. i have a 69lb as a back up. however the 69lb spring is too much for him. i am going to have to find something in the middle for him
