spring

Hey i was wondering what type of spring you guys are using on your springpole i think the one i have now is a little stiff since i just started her on it. I am using a trampoline spring my dog is a year and a half and roughly 75 pounds when all fours are on the ground she is ok with it but when i raise it she shows no interest

Most people use garage door springs. I believe there pull weight is 70lbs or so.

I use rope toys, but if your dogs teeth are getting caught I would try a cow hide. I don't use garage door springs I find them to be way to though and not springy enough. I use a 125lb limit spring found at home depot.

If the dogs teeth are getting caught I'd use cow-hide like Holly stated. Here's a link if you're interested in ordering some. Stillwater Kennel Supply --
I am currently using bunge cord that I bought off a friend, it works great has spring and is durable, not to mention my dogs can't really hurt their teeth on hitting a metal spring.
