Jack's 1st time with springpole

Introduced Jack to the infamous springpole, or in my case bungee pole. Just used old bungee cords I had and his tug toy, love this because it's totally portable. I also found an alternate function as a tug toy which is great if you get tired playing with this seemingly infinite energy breed!!! The last pic he's stalking his prey lol

Yup smacked my pup right in the head, I felt so guilty!! I still have no alternative so all the low hanging branches are in hiding when he comes outside lol

I don't want to dig a hole in my yard (I only have .08 acres, lol space is precious) and I don't have any trees so I made a flirt pole, which is good but I get dizzy HA lol Your pup is wicked cute

Thanks, he has gotten a lot of compliments which makes him feel good and me feel good also. He is the best freakin dog ever. I know the feeling of getting dizzy I used to be able to run and drag his toy behind me but since he's gotten older and faster it doesn't really work anymore.

Spring Poles are GREAT !! But that my freind is a Recipe for Disaster. It could take his EYE out when it Breaks or if the hokks come undone, No Joke. We use 150lb Garage Door Springs or Springs from with Hardened fasners from home Depo. Go spend $30 and do it right, You and he will have a ball with it. It can still Be portible with a Chain looped around and fasner to the spring.

TRUE STORY.... I have a portable one that my buddy made and never used so I got it for $20. but thats how much it cost him to make it so. N I have a chain to throw it over any tree at the park. Now its just a pain tryin to get them to use it lol. They will tug of war wit it but once I hook it up vertical they want no part of it.

So what kind of springs am I looking for? I made one out of a rope tied to a 30" heavy duty bungee. I did not use the hooks....I tied the rope to a hook that I looped the bungee through (this way if if breaks the hooks play no part in weight bearing and will not shoot towards my dog)

I just put one up myself today and within minutes Ariya was on it. She plays tug of war and then when it swings she jumps. I used a 4" eyehook, garage door spring and rope. Since I gad to screw in the eye hook 4" into the beam it is not portable. It didn't cost me a lot so I plan on making on for outside where she can start to jump as well.
