There's some tips from Mister Ron Ramos himself.

Some great stuff. I learned a couple things as well.

My girl is ADBA, so if we were to show conformation, I wouldn't have to stack her, but I do have experience with stacking in UKC... so I'll try this weekend to get a good vid of working her like this to give you a good visual example and post it up for you here in this thread. Best of luck to you.

Whenever we start training to stack the FIRST thing we do is run them hard for about 10 minutes. That way some of the excess evergy is used up and they are more apt to stand more still.

Nope it's not keeping a filthy dogyard , it's not failure to maintain a proper schedule as regards adminstering of antithelminics , nope the above " causes worms"..........

Thanks you to ladypit for deleting the link , this guys idea of proper supplementation probably would have caused me to grind another molar flat.

Actually you'd best stack that dog in front of most ADBA judges.

Thank you Olddog, but aside from Fun Shows, we'll probably never show in ADBA Conformation. I got her with the intent to do weight pull, not conformation, so I didn't look for a conformationally correct dog. She may or may not do well if I was to show her in conformation, but I'm just really not that interested in it. Although, I do appreciate your input.

If it's the red and white bitch in your sig photos you might want to do so a time or two , hard to judge from a photo but she looks like she might well do better than you might think.

Dino, you got to get some tough skin! If you are going to own a bully breed dog you need to have tough skin. I don't care if you crop your dogs ears or if they are natural. It's personal preference. And please understand that there are truly knowledgable people in the bully world that could give you their opinion based on the standard for bullies, of how your pup is looking. That is great you are working with stacking! He will get it if you keep working with him.

Kid , I'm about the very LAST person on this forum you should be starting this crap with.

And you have NO wish to learn anything whatsoever , nada , zil ,zip ,ZERO , ya just want to get stroked.

Furthermore your tacit admission above that your primary focus is M O N E Y and that your headed for being yet another backyard breeder of JUNK says just about everything that's necessary to be said about YOU and your focus within the context of these dogs.

And YES the dog of Lady Pits that I refered to has some conformation potential , yours on the other hand has NONE.

As regards the " cropping" issue , there are a whole slew of folks that read this forum that are laughing their collective asses off at YOU considering some of the dogs I've Championed and Gr.Championed within the auspices of the ADBA that carried battle crops , along with a bitch with bat ears that was double Dos Bits that some folks called " the radar dog" , ears of ANY type do not make the dog , nor does a surly , juvenile attitude in the owner.

Now *leave me alone* , if you fail to do I will then proceed to light you up six ways from sunday here , and you can well believe that up until this juncture I've been exceptionally mild in response.

And freaking well learn to spell , would ya for chrissakes........

Lady pit.. your dog looks good. Told ya back when treat her like a working dog, she has the recessive... to look like that. Look at JOys lil 38lbs dolly.. Whos on ADBAdog.com as the picture for WEIGHTPULL and yup, she is RE, and whopper, with good ol OFRN.
Anyway... definitely potential!

How do you teach your dogs to stack? Like that on the end of a chain or lead. How I do em all. As you see I encourage them to be looking for something originally from the behavior of the dog when I give the command.. Notice hes confused from me describing the ped as I read it off and used the word stack.

Notice the reverse sneeze at the end, actually thats caused from the dogs inverted flap adenoids, causing them to inhale backwards! Called a reversed pallet many times correctly.

He was 35lbs.. sound as it gets.. a solid bred dog.

R.I.P. had cancer of pancreas.
