using a bite sleeve.

So I wanted to get some opinions on whether to get a bite sleve for my bully, I have no plans on doing Schutzhund or guard dog training, I just want one for general exercise and fun. Is it a bad idea to use a bite sleeve just for fun, could it lead to unwanted behavior?

He is very well obediance trained, I use a tug toy in the same nature as a bite sleave, make him lie down untill I give him the command to get it which he charges and jumps lunging at it while I hold it up and we tug untill I give the command to let go, I'm just looking to add varity but not sure if a bite sleave without proper experience with it could cause negative behavior. Thanks.

If you're not gonna use the dog for bite work I wouldnt. No reason to make the dog think its ok to bite ppl if you dont want him to. Spring pole, flirt pole, swimming, walking and dragging is more than enough to get a dog in great shaoe and SAFELY burn off extra energy.

Thanks for the responce, that sounds reasonable as I dont plan on bite work and I was considering the same reason about biting people. I'll stick to the regular forms of exercise as mentioned.
