I've seen that 1 before.hahahaha

there was one on a gate to a pasture we had to cross to slip in a pond.
it read like

don't try it! the bull can do it in 10!

hell we never even seen the bull, but caught a lot of bream tho! lol.

I have one that says "area patrolled by Pit Bull Security Co." :P i think it is effective

Actually, it is best not to even post beware of dog signs, or to advertise you have a "pit bull."
"No Trespassing" are the best signs to have, for legal purposes.

Beware of Dog signs are best for those...without dogs!
In court, prosecutors will use the fact you knowingly had a dangerous dog, and were advertising it. You knew it would bite.
And seriously, if a robber is killed by a dog,his family will try and sue! Even after a homeowner is found innocent.
Just like the idiots who warn intruders they have a gun on the property. It shows they are declaring they will shoot anyone, and want to.
Those signs are only good for the movies.

And quite frankly, warning signs actually make it more dangerous for the owner.
True criminals do not fear those threats, but they do prepare better and will most definitely use lethal force if they do invade.

Other than that, home security signs are quite effective. If you post a sign that your house is secured by a legitimate home security system, it is very effective.
True criminals know the good ones.

Brinks Home Security is one example. Brinks Home Security | Push-Pull-Rotate Knobs and Levers | Home

The truth is, there are unseen forces in the government trying to disarm Americans.
And the prosecution is flooding with their puppets these days, as the rights of Americans are stripped away...

way to rain on the parade with your truths and correctness... lol

honestly G is right, these signs will just put someone on their toes, they want in theyre coming in...

I liked the sign though :)

yeah the gal that runs my local "pit bull" rescue is a lawyer as well. and she explains this about sinage at her training classes. her advice is a sign like G said "no tresspassing" or one that simply states "dog on property". nothing about beware or anything sounding like the dog is viscious.

Old topic but as we are currently in the purchasing mode of a new house. You're absolutely correct DONT acknowledge your / our breed. It does imply they are dangerous. Being simple and or vague "no trespassing", "beware of dog" lessons your liabity if something occurs.

And truthfully, stats show if someone wants in, there going to get in! Alarm or not although stats also show having an alarm lessons the likelihood of a breakin AND it lowers your home owners insurance. ?

But that sign is HILARIOUS. I'd just put it in your man cave, lol.
